PJ's International Friends Paper Dolls Recap...

Natasha, Amber, Juanita, Su-Lang & Fawn

The paperdolls in PJ's International Friends Paper Doll set are friends from around the world. Their love of music brings them together in a medley of relationships. Each of the girls have traditional outfits that complement their wardrobes. Accompanying the girls in their travels to your place, are native instruments, butterflies and flowers!

Natasha - An International Friends Paper Doll from RUSSIA strums her Balalaika among the thistles and moorland, wiskotti, and heath butterflies.

Juanita - An International Friends Paper Doll from MEXICO straps her accordion on to accompany the monarch butterflies annual flight to her country. We chose pink milkweed as her native flower.

Su-Lang - An International Friends Paper Doll from JAPAN kneels to play her Okoto. Teino palpus imperialis and Appias Nero butterflies flit among the bamboo shoots that grace the edges of Su-Lang's wardrobe.Fawn - An International Friends Paper Doll from NATIVE AMERICA introduces us to the Triple Flute as buckeye and yellow sulfur butterflies dance betwixt the Indian Blanket flowers and the melodies that float on the air. Her traditional outfit of deerskin is soft and supple showing the craftsmanship that her native people possess.

Only Drawback to Playing with Paper Dolls...

Rachel: "Paper cuts"!!! "It is debatable which is worse...being cut with regular paper (thin) or with 140lb. paper (thick). Weigh in on this debate and let me know what you think!"

"We are getting ready for Equine Experience and only have 4 days left before we head over to the coast! Would love to see you there if you are in Paso Robles, California next weekend!!!"

"Be careful of those paper cuts!"

Mom and I decided to add "Toni the Little Pony" because of Equine Experience. We will need both a boy and girl horse for the kids to pick from! Each of our existing paper dolls have a western outfit, so we will take each doll and make her/him available with her/his western outfit. Along with the western paper dolls, there will be western postcards, gift cards, and our children's book, "Twiglet" the Little Christmas Tree. There are horses all through the story! We have redesigned our trademark and are in the middle of updating our catalog! Plus working on orders as they come in! We have also designed a new coloring book for Equine Experience's Kid's Day on Sunday. PJ's "Little Ones Equine Coloring Book" will be available at the show and then online after April 1st.

Re-Introducing Peppy the Little Sheppy...

Just like with "Browsey the Little Mousey", Peppy has been introduced before. It's just that this is his place in the LAPD line-up! As the eighth "Little Animal Paper Doll", Peppy is an old timey cop. Over in England the British cop was also called a "bobby". I have an inquiry in over at "Diary From England", getting the official word from Naomi on the use of the term "bobby".

UPDATE: Naomi, PJ's Official "England Correspondent" has posted The Origin of the British Bobby that validates our use of the term "Bobby" in a special way! Thank you Naomi!

Re-Introducing Browsey the Little Mousey...

We have already introduced "Browsey the Little Mousey" back in February. However, to continue with the introductions of PJ's Little Animal Paper Dolls in the order they were created, Browsey has changed into some other clothes that he keeps tied up in his hankerchiefs! This brings the total of LAPD's to seven. If you weren't reading PJ's Paper Doll Cut Outs when we introduced Browsey, he is a little hobo that loves to ride the trains, when "Neddy the Little Teddy" is not looking and play his mouth harp.

Introducing Merle the Little Squirrel...

To follow with the sports theme set by "Tuppy the Little Puppy" as a golfer, we introduce "Merle the Little Squirrel". Baseball is Merle's favorite sport. He is quite a slugger especially when he pictures the ball as a nut!
