CeCe the Little See-Through Paper Doll...

"CeCe" the Little See-Through Paper Doll!
Once upon a time, there was an elderly lady, named Rose, who lived alone and was very lonely. One day on the way home from the Post Office, Rose saw a pink paper doll that looked see-through, in a window of an old antique store. Rose bought the paper doll and took it home.

Rose cut out the little pink see-through paper doll and put her on a shelf close to her rocking chair. She sometimes talked to the see-through paper doll that she had named CeCe. It was a funny thing, but she felt that CeCe could understand her.

On a very cold and rainy day, Sally, Nancy, and Lacey, came to visit Rose. They had complained all morning to their mother that they had nothing to do until she asked them to go visit Rose for her.

The three little girls did not have much to say and Rose did not know what they were interested in, so long periods-of-time went by when no one said a word. It was during one of these quiet times that CeCe surprised everyone when she exclaimed...
