New Paper Dolls on the Drawing Board...

Rachel: There's a new paper doll on the drawing board in PJ's Paper Doll Factory! Her name is "Janey". She is seven years old and her clothes will be replicas of the clothes her namesake wore as a child. Some of the accessories will be added to match the outfits, however, like with the purse with this outfit, the purse is fashioned after one that was crocheted by Janey's grandmother.

Another paperdoll that is just about ready for purchase is PJ's Little Girl Paper Doll". She has 21 outfits including this Blue & White pinstriped dress with white accessories.

PJ's Little Girl is wearing the type of dresses I wore to school as a child. Back then even our jeans were different from boy's jeans. The zipper was on the side! I only remember wearing dresses to elementary school, and skirts and blouses to high school. Pants were for play only. Times have changed, haven't they??

Times sure have changed! The clothes for our paperdolls are from my mother's memory. So we are tickled that you recognized the outfit that PJ's Little Girl is wearing!

I look at the clothes for little girls in the stores today and I feel so sorry that there are few outfits like these. This is how I dressed and dressed my daughter and we felt so special and feminine.

The outfit that Janey is wearing is fashioned after clothes that my mother sewed for me...I felt very special and feminine, too!
