PJ's Awards Naomi for her helpfulness...

My “mum” and I are proud to present Naomi over at Diary from England with an official PJ’s International Paper Doll Cut Outs Correspondent from ENGLAND badge! This is our way of showing her that we really appreciate her helping us with facts about England. She took the time to answer our questions and has helped to insure that "Queenie", our International Friends Paper Doll from ENGLAND and Peppy, PJ's Little Animal Paper Doll are educational tools as well as a great pastime for having fun.

What a lovely badge. You are your Mum are so creative Janey! I will be very proud to display it on my blog. Many thanks to you both. It was my pleasure to help you with your research. I will be happy to help you with any further information you need in the future. It's always better to ask a native than go to a reference book!

And it is a lot more fun, too!

On the drawing board are paper dolls from COSTA RICA, BRAZIL, POLAND, EGYPT, IRELAND, SCOTLAND & ITALY! Do you know anyone that would want to be our International Correspondent from any of those countries?

Hi Janey

I can help you with any information on the dolls from Ireland, Scotland and Italy too. Italy is one of my favourite holiday destinations. I had my third visit there this year. Not sure about the others. I have a friend who visited Egypt so might be able to offer some help on that one too! Unfortunately I don't know of anyone with blogs in the other countries you mentioned.

Just thought we have a Polish lady at work, maybe I could ask her a few questions and get some information. So that just leaves two dolls to organise.

Wow! That would be great Naomi. Remember that each doll has a traditional outfit, musical instrument and a butterfly keeping with the theme of PJ's International Paper Dolls!!

I was thinking about having our Italian Doll play the Stratovarius! We have an Italian friend that we have lost contact with when she moved away...but not before Mom was able to sketch a dress that she wore as a kid.

This doesn't mean that I am off the hook for doing my research...I love to do it and learn so much while searching for information. It will be awesome to work with someone that has "inside knowledge"!
